This year's SEMSS conference will be hosted by students in the Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) at Emory University, and will be jointly organized with MSTP students from the University of Alabama-Birmingham and Vanderbilt University. This conference is open to all current MD/PhD, MD, and PhD students, as well as undergraduates interested in pursuing physician-scientist careers. Physician-scientist residents, post-doctoral fellows, and faculty are also invited to attend.
Accommodations are available at the Emory Conference Center hotel and may be purchased through the courtesy link here at a rate of $129/night. These rooms will be available on a rolling basis so it is in attendees' best interests to reserve a room at their earliest convenience.
Another option is the Doubletree on North Druid Hills Road. There is not a SEMSS group rate at the Doubletree at this time, but this may become an option if the Emory Conference Center rooms are full. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
