Have your poster printed and ready for you when you get to Birmingham for SEMSS 2025

Poster Printing Order Deadline: Monday, September 15

New for 2025, we’re excited to offer on-site poster printing services for our SEMSS attendees! This is a great option if you would prefer the convenience of having your poster printed in Birmingham ahead of time and would like to not worry about traveling with your poster. Place your order by Monday, September 15, 2025, and you will be able to pick up your poster during check-in on Saturday, September 27th.

Paper, White Background

(any dimensions within the 40” x 60” limit with color fonts and images) - $65

Paper, Color Background 

(any dimensions within the 40” x 60” limit with solid color with text boxes) - $75

Paper, Solid Dark Color Background (any dimensions within 40 x 60 limit with solid color with text boxes) - $85

Fabric Poster, 36” poster sizes (available dimensions: 24” x 36”, 36” x 36”, 36” x 48”, 36” x 56”)  - $115

Fabric Poster, 42” poster sizes (available dimensions: 42” x 36”, 42” x 42”, 42” x 56”, 42” x 60”) - $125

Information for Fabric Posters: The fabric poster material is a satin/poly blend. It is water-resistant but not waterproof. It is durable and not prone to tearing and fraying. Please note that fabric posters can only be printed at certain dimensions (detailed in the “Pricing” above).

Poster Printing Guidelines:

• Please upload a PDF or a PowerPoint (.pptx) file of your poster. Other formats (.ai, .png, .psd, etc.) are not accepted.

  • Note: If you are converting your PowerPoint file to a PDF, make sure to do the “Save As PDF” or “Export As PDF” options. Do not print to PDF.

• The maximum poster size for SEMSS is 40” x 60” (landscape or portrait). When placing your order, make sure to specify your poster’s size in inches and that it meets these guidelines.

  • To check the size of your poster size:

    • For PowerPoint: Go to the “Design” tab, click “Slide Size”, and then click “Page Setup…”

    • For Adobe Illustrator: Access the “Artboard” tool. In the Properties panel, the file’s dimensions are detailed under the “Transform” section.

• Make sure to leave at least a 0.5 in. margin for all sides of your poster.

• If you notice any errors in your printing request after submission, need to cancel your order, or need to modify anything involving your printing order, please email us at southeasternmdphd@gmail.com as soon as possible. We’ll let you know if your order is in processing or if any changes can be made.

• You can submit multiple poster printing requests. Please submit each request separately.

• If there are any questions, concerns, or issues with your poster printing request, we will reach out to you by email.
