Dr. Dennis Liotta, PhD

Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor, Department of Chemistry
Professor, Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology
Chair, Advisory Committee of Drug Innovation Ventures at Emory University and Emory Institute for Drug Development

Dr. Liotta is one of the premier discoverers of novel therapeutics in the United States with his innovations resulting in at least 18 life-saving FDA-approved antiviral therapeutics including emtricitabine, lamivudine, and sofosbuvir.

Research interests: antiviral, oncological, neurological therapeutics.

Dr. Erin Weber, MD, PhD

Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery and Adjunct Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University

Clinical interests: hand trauma, peripheral nerve injury, lower extremity limb salvage

Research interests: peripheral nerve injury and regeneration and the signals released by muscle to nerve to guide axon-specific regeneration.
